First Album Artwork by Artist Andrew Browne

I'm happy to announce my first ever album artwork! Last year, the band Airoplane (from Glasgow, Scotland) reached out and asked me to create album art for their new single I'M ALIVE / SUPERSTARZ (2023). The single is finally out and available to stream/purchase on iTunes/Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, Spotify, etc. You can find links to the various music platforms here. It's a great single; I highly recommend checking it out.

You can also see the artwork on my portfolio site Monomizer.com. For this project, I was asked to create a portrait of the members of the band as airplane pilots as well as an image of an airplane, specifically the landing gear. The artwork uses a retro comic book aesthetic, complete with old school CMYK halftones to add grit, warmth, and soul.
